WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Ivory Images' wedding packages both start with an interview to discuss what the bride and groom want from their wedding photography. The choice of formal pictures and family groups will be discussed and a timetable for the day worked out. If possible the photographer will attend the wedding rehearsal and will visit the reception location.
On the day the photography will usually start at the bride's house to photograph her and her bridesmaids and then move on to the wedding venue to take pictures of the groom, best man and ushers. The bride's arrival at the church or registry office is next and then whatever photography is allowed during the service. This varies from venue to venue but will certainly include signing the register.
The location of the main photography will depend on finding the most picturesque location and also on the weather but time should be allowed to take some personal shots of the bride and groom in addition to the group pictures and, if possible, a shot of everybody. On arrival at the reception a 'mock cake cutting' is staged and then the couple are able to greet their guests knowing that the photography is largely covered. The guests are then photographed at their tables.
The Inclusive Package
The 'Inclusive' package covers everything above plus shots during the reception. The large number of photographs taken during the day are then edited down and a proof album of the best shots is ready for your return from your honeymoon. When you have made your selection they are printed to size and placed in an album from the Spicer-Hallfield Elizabethan range. These have thirty six sides and take pictures up to 8 inches by 6 inches which can be either gloss or lustre finish. Also included is a cd with a slideshow presentation of your wedding day. This package costs £1,100.
The Photographic Package
The 'Photographic' package finishes when your guests are seated at the reception. A proof album is prepared as above and your selection of thirty 8 inch by 6 inch pictures with a finish of your choice can then be made. This package costs £600.
With both packages a deposit of £100 secures the booking and the balance is due on the day.
Extras
For couples taking the 'Inclusive' option we can supply smaller albums for parents, similar in design to the main album with twentyfour sides taking pictures up to 5inches square.
Extra prints, enlargements and framing are also available for both options.
Engagement picture photosessions can be arranged in the studio.
Another service offered by Ivory Images is to provide your guests with a momento of the day on the day. This involves setting up a printing station during the evening , photographing the guests and selling them an 8 by 6 print in a mount. If you choose one of your photos taken earlier we can then sell them with the guests' picture as a pair. This gives your guests something to take away at no cost to to you.
The usual charge is £10 for a single picture or £15 for the pair.
PUBLICITY & PORTRAITURE
Whether it is a portfolio or publicity shot or a family portrait the clients will usually come to the studio or, for larger groups, to a suitable location for a sitting. A range of shots with different poses and lighting setups will then be taken and the results shown on the computer or a set of proofs provided for further deliberation. A basic photosession such as this would cost £70. The chosen prints can be finished in either gloss or lustre up to A3 size and, for publicity material, with or without a caption on the print. The price of prints depends on the number, size and mount or frame if requested.
EVENT & CORPORATE
A souvenir photograph is an integral part of any large social event, be it a banquet, reception, prom night or regimental dinner and Ivory Images provides a portable studio with lighting and, if required, a background for such functions. Prints are normally 8 x 6 inches and supplied in mounts at £10 each. They are usually available on the night.
For business clients we provide an on site or studio based service; for example photographing your board members for your annual report, and can supply the product as hard copy or on disc or by e-mail.

PURCHASING PRINTS
Photos from the Travel & Landscape,Railways and Flora & Fauna galleries can be purchased as either colour or black & white A4 prints.They are printed on gloss,satin or matt paper and cost from £15 plus p&p per print.

Photos from these galleries are also available under licence for publication. They will be supplied as hi res,unsharpened tiff files .Please contact Ivory Images for publication rates.
